CI-WATER 2nd Annual Symposium: See the Future of Science

Join the scientists of CI-WATER for the 2nd Annual CI-WATER Symposium and Conference: Modeling A Sustainable Future. 

From 5pm to 7pm, NHMU will be hosting the CI-WATER Poster Session featuring posters by Utah and Wyoming high school science fair participants and university students studying the science of water data analysis, Hydroinformatics.

Then at 7pm, there will be a Keynote Lecture by Dr. Miriah Meyer titled "Visualizing Data: Why an Interactive Picture is Worth a 1,000 Numbers." Computer scientist Dr. Meyer's groundbreaking work is helping scientists analyze Big Data to find new insights and drive innovation. Named by MIT Technology Review as one of the top young innovators, she is a recipient of a NSF/CRA Computing Innovation Fellow Award and an assistant professor at the University of Utah Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute.
