Utah Futures

This thought-provoking environment—the Museum’s crystal ball—is a place to explore pressing contemporary issues with local and global implications for the future.

You are encouraged to participate in an engaging interactive game where you can see the results of your everyday individual choices play out and learn more about how they might affect Utah on a broad scale.

Learn about local community partners and their efforts toward a more sustainable future and ways in which you too can do your part for a better Utah.

The Utah Futures exhibition is located in the Barbara L. and Norman C. Tanner Gallery.

Nano Exhibition

The Natural History Museum of Utah in conjunction with Nanoscale Informal Science Education Network (NISE Network), is proud to present Nano. Nano is an engaging and interactive mini-exhibition about nanoscale science, engineering, and technology for family audiences. Hands-on exhibit components focus on the basics of nanoscience, real world applications of nano, and the societal and ethical implications of this new technology.

For the next year, find the Nano exhibit in the Utah Futures gallery and investigate what nano means for us. Explore what happens when things get smaller. Learn what's new about nano and where you can find nano in everyday products.
