Taking Learning Outdoors

You are invited to participate in a free 4-part workshop, hosted by scientists and educators at the Natural History Museum of Utah, designed to promote better understanding of authentic learning experiences through outdoor exploration.

We will be researching the geology of the Wasatch Front, as well as local water issues; focusing on availability, quality, and dynamics as they are impacted by both human activity and climate change.

You will experience hands-on activities, as well as practice with toolbox lesson plans and the integration of content into other curriculum.
