Self Guided Field Trips
Self-guided field trips have been developed to give students hands-on, authentic experiences with natural history concepts that support the Utah Science Core Curriculum including specific content standards and the Intended Learning Outcomes. NHMU's new self-guided field trips are based on national and state standards and designed for grades K-12. Clubs, after-school programs, child-care, pre-school and adult programs can make group reservations with visitor services. Click here for group reservations page.
Self-guided Field Trips in our new building, the Rio Tinto Center, will run for the 2012-2013 school year from July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2013. Please submit your request at least two weeks prior to the time of your visit in order for you to receive your confirmation and properly prepare your students and chaperones to visit the Museum. Submitting a request does not guarantee a reservation.
