Help ID and Verify Nature Observations
One of the largest bioblitz events in the world is coming to Utah April 26–29, 2024 - The City Nature Challenge. During these 4-days, cities around the globe will make iNaturalist observations of nearby wild plants and animals, resulting in thousands of observations to our local iNaturalist project, 2024 City Nature Challenge: Utah’s Wasatch.
With thousands of observations coming into this project, we need your help to identify and verify as many as possible - to enhance the scientific validity and make note of any interesting or exciting finds.
You can ID on your own, or join us in-person. Here’s how:
On Your Own
City Nature Challenge photos are taken from April 26–29, and can be uploaded through May 5th. Visit the 2024 City Nature Challenge: Utah’s Wasatch iNaturalist project to ID and Verify observations as they come in.
